How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

So fun!
I love all of my pela cases and had to get a couple more during the holiday sale. I've had my eye on this stitch case for awhile, but finally got it this time and I'm OBSESSED! As an avid stitcher (for fun and for work) this will be such a fun way to personalize my case not only with the seasons, but also in a way that represents me. I had a friends say, "This is the most you case I've ever seen!". Thank you for offering a fun case like this.
The hole sizing is about the size of 14-ct Aida, and also the holes are nice and thick. It doesn't seem like they are going to rip through easily. I used a dull needle and 2-strands of embroidery floss, which worked great. There is a slight bump on the back, depending on how much you tie off on the back, but not enough to be annoying.

High Quality
The product is a very high quality, higher than expected, and it is fun to add designs to the back! The case is so smooth, soft, and thin, and still seems to be protected. Though, the smooth, soft, thin case makes the phone a bit more difficult to grip.
