Materials
The Pela AirPods Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to break down in a home composting environment.

Feels more secure
I love the case for my new airpods. I got them as a birthday gift but it feels a little shifty just carrying them around without protection, the airpod case is so sleek. But with the pela case on it, it doesn't slip out of my hands as easily, so I don't drop them as often and even if I did, they'd be more protected. The case is a bit thick, but that's to be expected. I like that it fits very snuggly on the airpods, installation was easy. I don't use the little keychain loop, considering cutting/shaving off the little connection bit.

This case is amazing! I’ve had this case for about a year now and it’s perfect. Initially I was worried that the adhesive on the inside (especially on the top part) wouldn’t last but the case has stayed on without any issues. The pairing button is blocked but it’s right above the logo on the back and once you find it, it’s really easy to press down and find again for future use. The material feels nice and makes it a lot easier to open and hold the case without dropping it and the protection is great. I got the mustard color (or whatever it’s called) so it would be easier to find at the bottom of a bag or something and it still looks new

It’s a good case and it’s awesome that it’s sustainable. But I just became aware of quite the design flaw when I tried pairing my AirPods with a new device. The case totally covers the button used for pairing and doesn’t even leave an indication of where the button is located. Generally not a big deal but kind of frustrating if you are in that situation. Ended up pairing the device to speakers instead.
