How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

10/10 would Pela again
I’m a return customer because I love Pela so much! The cases are thin and light weight but very protective. I drop my phone all the time and I’ve never had a scratch. This case looks very cool in person. Almost like it’s glowing!

Love my new case!
I love this new phone case, it feels nice in my hand - its a bit grippy so not so easy to drop, the colors are vibrant and fun and it makes me really happy to be holding something that is non-plastic and biodegradable. The case seems very sturdy and protective, I'm very happy with this purchase!
